– 250 grams rib beef
– A handful of fermented kimchi
– 5 fresh ginseng roots
– 3 jujubes
– Pumpkin seeds
– 2 tablespoons of glutinous rice flour
– 1/2 tablespoon chopped pine
– 1 tsp sesame oil
– 1 teaspoon chopped chives

Seasoning of the Beef

– 1 tbsp soy sauce
– Pear juice
– 1/2 tbsp honey
– 1/2 tbsp garlic (chopped)
– 1/4 tbsp minced garlic
– Ground sesame
– Black pepper


– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 2 tbsp mulyeot (starchy syrup)
– 1 tbsp refined rice wine
– Sugar
– Maesil Cheong
– 1/2 cup water


1. Get rid of the beef’s blood by soaking it in water for a couple of minutes.
2. Mince and marinate the beef in the seasoning mixture and leave it for about 30 minutes.
3. Take away the fine roots of ginseng and cut it in half; then 5 cm in length.
4. Wash the kimchi and add sesame oil as well as chopped chives.
5. Remove the seeds of the jujube and spread it wide, then slice the rolled jujube.
6. Combine glutinous rice flour, chopped pine, and beef. Knead for a couple of minutes.
7. Divide the beef and roll them around the ginseng.
8. Combine the ingredients for the sauce and let it boil.
9. In another pan, bake the meatballs and once it’s cooked, top it with the prepared sauce.
